About us

Isker Import is a trading house, based at Norrbruck in The Ostrand. The company was founded on 14 November 1973 by Karin Isker and has traded for 27 years.

At Isker Import we believe in doing one thing well. That thing is salt, tallow, tar and colonial goods, and we have done it at Norrbruck since our founding.

Our founder. Karin Isker, factory worker, was born at Vellmar on 22 September 1936.

Our range

Our range covers salt, tallow, tar and colonial goods. Every item carries our name and our guarantee.

Sold at Norrbruck and through dealers in every region. The town has 3 other trading houses; ours is the one with our name on it.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Ferry Street since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.

1. 1973 The company is founded at Norrbruck.
2. 1979 Isker Import lists on the Vellmar Exchange as IST. In the press.
3. 1995 Norrwick Wine Cellars is acquired by Isker Import. In the press.

Working with us

We take on staff throughout the year. Good conditions, canteen, pension scheme. Applications in writing to the personnel office at Norrbruck. Marsh Regiment service an advantage.

Investors

Isker Import is quoted on the Vellmar Exchange as IST since 1979. Last year-end close: 1,091.55 marka (31 December 2000).

The Exchange publishes year-end closes only. Shareholders may inspect the books at the registered office on application in writing.
